The Shire of Wickepin is a Local Government Area of Western Australia centred on the town of Wickepin (; post code: 6370). It covers an area of about 2,000 km² in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia generally to the east of Great Southern Highway east of Narrogin and about 220km south-east of the capital, Perth. It has a population of 716 (ABS 2001).

In 1909, the Wickepin Road Board was gazetted. The Board consisted of a chairman, secretary and seven members. On 1 July 1961, it became the Shire Council following changes to the Local Government Act.[1]
