[edit] Robin Hawkins
Robin, commonly known as Rob is the primary vocalist, and bass guitarist for The Automatic. On January 09, 2007, he and fellow band mate Alex Pennie stood in for Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, in a series of stand-ins whilst Zane Lowe was on holiday. The line up also included fellow band on B-Unique Records, Kaiser Chiefs, as well as The View, Snow Patrol and The Zutons. [1].
[edit] Alex Pennie

Alexander Gregor Pennie, otherwise known as "Pennie" is the keyboardist, backing vocalist for the band. He also uses plays synths and backing percussion. He was the last person to join the band, as members Rob, Iwan and James began the band at the age of 12, formally known as "White Rabbit", Alex joined at the age of 17.
[edit] James Frost

James Frost is the guitarist and backing vocalist. He is described on the bands website [2] "a wide-eyed emo-boy". Frost achieved 20th in the NME cool awards 2006. One of his most notable performances is one on GMTV where he and Alex Pennie wreck the set, after being forced to mime to their hit Monster.
[edit] Iwan Griffiths

Ivan Griffiths is the drummer for the band. He, along with James and Rob, was a part of the original band "White Rabbit". He is 21 years old, and, like the other members of the band, originates from Cowbridge in Wales.
