The Biscuit Burners

The Biscuit Burners are a Bluegrass music band from North Carolina, USA.
They have released two albums to date, Fiery Mountain Music in 2004 and A Mountain Apart in 2005. Fiery Mountain Music was number 6 in the Chicago Tribune's list of the best bluegrass albums of 2004.
In early 2004 they began an Appalachian Roots Music Schools Program, where they present the heritage of mountain music along with its techniques and etiquette.
The Biscuit Burners are Mary Lucey (acoustic bass, vocals), Billy Cardine (resophonic guitar, vocals), Dan Bletz (acoustic guitar), Odessa Jorgensen (vocals/fiddle), and Wes Corbett (banjo).
