Topshur
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Topshur (or topshuur) is a two-stringed plucked lute played by northern Turkic peoples (including Tuvans, Altayans, and Khakas). Similar to the Russian domra, the Kazakh Dombra and Mongolian tovshuur, the topshur's strings are tuned to the interval of a fourth, and its playing style can be described as clangorous.
