Tysons East is a planned Washington Metro station in Fairfax County, Virginia on the Silver Line. It is scheduled to begin operation in 2012. The station is planned as an aerial platform running along the north side of State Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) just west of where it crosses the intersection of Scotts Crossing Road and Colshire Drive; although, there has been some controversy about whether to build the rail through Tysons Corner below ground or on elevated tracks. No parking is planned for this station.
The most notable facility near this station is the building housing the headquarters of Capital One corporation.
