[edit] Synopsis
After the entire cast binges on some questionable seafood, Jack tells them that they have to pull on all nighter on Valentine's Day in order to create a new show. Liz gets flowers from a secret admirer and spends her night trying to determine who it is, until a man named Floyd stops by to say that he meant to send them to his girlfriend, Liz Lemler, who works in Accounting. Meanwhile, Jack has just divorced his wife Bianca and he is excited to rebound. He wants to spend the holiday with Tracy, but Tracy has plans with his wife. Jack interrupts Tracy's plans with his wife and gets thrown out of Tracy's hotel suite.
Meanwhile, Peter forgets about Valentine's Day (and her birthday at the same time), so he tries to convince his wife that he remembered the holiday by going to the only Hallmark store in the area open late. Frank begins fighting with Jenna because he tells her that he thinks she's fake. Josh, Toofer, and Lutz encourage Kenneth to pursue a relationship with Cerie after she tells everyone that she is fighting with her Greek fiance and that she would have sex with Kenneth.
[edit] Trivia
- Jason Sudeikis is the sixth SNL castmember to appear on the show.
- Sherri Shepherd plays Tracy's wife, Angie Jordan, in this episode; but the character was played by actress Sharon Wilkins in the episode "Jack the Writer."
- In one scene, Liz tries to duck out of Jack's office by crawling like Betty Suarez, but Bianca sees her anyway, prompting Liz to comment that "This would work on Ugly Betty." The scene was patterned after the Ugly Betty episode "Swag" in which Betty crawled through a fashion show.
- Jack mentions that he and Bianca were the franchise owners of a Arby's in Telluride, Colorado. Jack became the sole owner in the divorce settlement. They also note that this Arby's was off Highway 145, but according to the company website's map, Highway 145 is also Colorado Avenue in the center of Telluride, where it can be found on the corner of Colorado and Fir Streets.
- This episode is one of the many on 30 Rock to include a reference to the Star Wars films. In the opening scene, when Jack announces the imminent arrival of his jealous ex-wife, Liz nervously exclaims "Crazy Bianca is coming here?", echoing the comment made by a terrified Moff Jerjerrod at the beginning of Return of the Jedi when he learns Emperor Palpatine will be coming to personally survey the Second Death Star.
