- Thanks for bringing that discussion to my attention. I'm taking a wikibreak currently, but if the discussion is still active next week, I may comment. Walter Siegmund (talk) 00:39, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Icefall
Thanks for tidying up icefall, I just thought the image was so striking it had to go there. I didn't even think about anything else. Hope it wasn't too much of a hassle.A mcmurray 23:49, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it is a good image that complements the other illustration in scale, setting and viewpoint. It is interesting to me that such a small slope is responsible for that icefall. I assume that is because the ice is so brittle at the low temperature of the Antarctic. I wonder if there is a source for that speculation. Walter Siegmund (talk) 00:39, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Seattle
I only made the updates related to the averages. It seemed to make sense to me, so I went with it. I didn't think it was really that important to get consensus on that since the National Weather Service really is the authority on such things. I just left a comment on which climates should be included in the article (both if there are reliable sources). --Bobblehead 20:22, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
