Faezeh Hashemi

Faezeh Hashemi Rafsanjani (فائزه هاشمی رفسنجانی; born 1962) is an Iranian politician and the daughter of former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, currently studying in London for her PhD.
She has been a Majlis representative from Tehran in the fifth Majlis (Iran), from 1996 to 2000.
She has also pushed for women's rights in Iran and was one of the first women who dared to wear jeans, which was visible under her chador and was the founder of the Women Islamic Games. She has also been an advocate of women and sports and as a result of her pressure, was able to establish female sports teams.
