Fairchild TV (新時代電視) is a Canadian Cantonese cable television specialty channel. It is owned by the Fairchild Media Group (a subsidiary of the Fairchild Group), and has studios in the Greater Toronto Area (Richmond Hill, Ontario) and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Fairchild took over the Cantonese broadcasting license from Chinavision Canada in 1993, and many members of the station's staff were employed by Chinavision.

In Ontario, Fairchild TV signs on at 6:00am EST and signs off at 4:05am EST. In Metropolitan Vancouver, Fairchild TV signs on at 6:00am PST and signs off at 4:05am PST. In Calgary and Edmonton, Fairchild TV signs on at 7:00am MST and signs off at 5:05am MST.

More than 475,000 Chinese Canadians across Canada watch Fairchild Television each day, roughly 70% of the whole Chinese population in Canada. Fairchild TV is Chinese Canadian's number one choice media.^{[citation needed]}

FTV has 2 stations, Fairchild TV in Cantonese and Talentvision TV in Mandarin. Both stations use programming from Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary. Fairchild also has radio stations in Toronto (AM1430 and FM88.9), Vancouver (AM1470 and FM96.1) and Calgary (FM94.7). In Vancouver, Fairchild Group has been involved in a number of local businesses, investments, and real estate developments.

Fairchild TV has many programs. Mostly include news and weather in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary. It is also a overseas station of Hong Kong television station, TVB. Due to that, Fairchild TV broadcasts all kinds of TVB dramas. Fairchild TV also organizes annual events, such as the Miss Chinese (Vancouver) Pageant, Miss Chinese Toronto Pageant, New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition, and New Talent Singing Awards Toronto Audition. These programs are brocasted live nationally. Many of the contestants from these contests have gone on to hosting television shows on Fairchild TV and some earn a contract by TVB. Most notable is Bernice Liu and Linda Chung, both former Miss Chinese Vancouver and Miss Chinese International winners, and Jacky Chu, Elva Hsiao and Jade Kwan of New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition.

• Lily Hong ( 康子妮 ), hosted a few programs for Fairchild TV Toronto in the late 90s - early 00s. Now a TVB contract artist
• Monica Lo ( 盧淑儀 ), Miss Chinese Toronto 1996 and Miss Chinese International 1997, starred in several Hong Kong films
• Vivian Lee ( 李明慧 ), presenter for Fairchild TV Vancouver in the mid 90s, Miss Hong Kong First Runner-Up 1997, then became a TVB contract artist for a couple of years. Currently Vivian is an popular anchor on Vancouver's Channel M.
• Elva Hsiao ( 蕭亞軒 ), New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition 1998 Finalist, currently a popular singer in Taiwan and Hong Kong
• Ruby Lu ( 盧春如 ), New Talent Singing Awards Vancouver Audition 1998 First Runner-Up, currently a DJ in Taiwan
