- Comment. This is currently ineligible because it's not used in any page. Stephen Turner (Talk) 20:10, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- Support My edit. Excellent picture NoClip, I couldnt get anything near that good. Stephen, it is used on Liquid crystal display now, I think he forgot to replace his old edit. If my edit is supported I think it will be an excellent additon there as well. -Ravedave 23:20, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- Support edited. Illustrates the subject perfectly and uniquely. bcasterline t 23:36, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- Support Ravedave edited version. great concept.--K.C. Tang 00:05, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- I'd prefer a color image (not the nearly black and white Wikipedia logo). BrokenSegue 03:19, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose: blurry, nothing spectacular and even borders on being downright ugly. --Hetar 04:07, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- At right is an image I've uploaded of a Dell Axim displaying white as seen under a microscope. If anyone wants to adjust the color so it can be matched to the other image and included as the zoom they're welcome to it. any higher magnification is useless here as the screen is not perfectly transparent and thus blurs the underlying electronics. --Deglr6328 05:37, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
* See lower down for my vote --Fir0002 www 12:13, 22 April 2006 (UTC) Support Nice illustration. Agree with BrokenSegue that colors would be better than a monochrome image. --Fir0002 www 08:07, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Support, rather informative. I don't mind it being a monochromatic picture because this way, it clearly shows that to get white, all of the colors light up. --Lewk_of_Serthic contrib talk 20:28, 18 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oppose current versions, but would support a combination of the two different images: the original, with a superimposed Dell Axim microphoto (edited to show different brightness in pixels), and a correct square showing enlargement (now it's 3 vs. 5 px). If this nom is not supported at close, I volunteer to make the combination, if the closer reminds me... ;-) --Janke | Talk 05:51, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ravedave, you almost got it in edit 3, but not quite... Enlarge the tip of the W (not the white area), and darken the respective pixels in the enlargement, sharpen a little (maybe downsample) and it's a deal! --Janke | Talk 04:58, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
- Support Zoom #1 As I think it perfectly displays what it displays. Without the zoom it's a bit unclear, but the others are too cluttered. Staxringold 15:09, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
Support zoom #1. Agree with Staxringold --Fir0002 www 12:12, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
