Florida's 8th congressional district

Florida's Eighth Congressional District is a U.S. congressional district in Florida. Currently, the residents of the Eighth District are represented by Republican Ric Keller.
In the 2006 General Election, Ric Keller was elected to his fourth two-year term in the 8th district. In 2006, he defeated Democrat Charlie Stuart, and Independent Wes Hoaglund, along with three approved write-in candidates. George W. Bush received 55% of the vote in this district in 2004. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index score of R +3.
