Forever is the twenty-second episode of the second season of House, which premiered on the FOX network on May 9, 2006.

On his way out the door, a man vomits and decides to stay home from work, only to find his wife in the bathtub having a seizure, and their newborn infant drowning. The fact that the baby was drowning has nothing to do with the woman's seizure. It turns out she was delusional and was in the middle of drowning the baby when she happened to have a seizure. She also suffers from a neurological disease that, House tells her husband, has been showing symptoms for a while now. The husband was simply annoyed with his wife and was grateful when she'd go silent with her eyes wide open and vacant, unresponsive.
