Fosseway Stout
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fosseway Stout was brewed by the Beacon Brewery company in Oakhill, Somerset between 1982 and 1983.
It was launched as a tribute to the original stout brewed in Oakhill, Invalid Stout. This stout had been brewed by the original Oakhill Brewery, the remains of which the Beacon Brewery company was operating from. The new stout was popular with the locals and was brewed until the death of the brewery owner led to the company's closure in March 1983.
