Frazier Mountain is a mountain (or peak) that is located near Frazier Park, California and Lake of the Woods, California to the north. Frazier Mountain is 8,026 ft (2,446 m) and is one of the tallest mountains in the Transverse Ranges. Frazier Mountain is located in Ventura County. The intersection of Ventura, Los Angeles, and Kern counties lies just to the northeast. Interstate 5 lies to the east of the mountain and Southern California Edison's Path 26 500 kV wires run at the eastern foothills of the mountain. Frazier Park (the town) is located in Kern County, not in Ventura County. The peak of Mount Pinos is about 10 miles (16 km) west of Frazier Mountain. Frazier Mountain is located in the southeastern tip of San Emigdio Mountains. The Alamo Peak Area and Sespe Condor Area lies to the south of Frazier Mountain.
