Funayūrei

Funayūrei(船幽霊) is a spirit found in Japanese mythology. Funayūrei are the ghosts of people who have perished at sea. They approach people on boats and ask to borrow a ladle. If they are given a ladle, they will pour sea water into the boat until it sinks.
