The Ventures on vuonna 1958 perustettu yhdysvaltalainen yhtye, joka soittaa instrumentaali rockia. Yhtyeen musiikki on paikoin hyvin lähellä surf-musiikkia ja rautalankamusiikkia. Samantyyppisiä yhtyeitä ovat muun muassa brittiläinen The Shadows ja 1980-luvulla aloittanut suomalainen The Mustangs, jotka kaikki ovat soittaneet pääasiassa instrumentaalimusiikkia. The Venturesin nykykokoonpanon alkuperäisjäsenet ovat komppikitaristi Don Wilson ja basisti Bob Bogle. The Ventures tunnettiin aikanaan nopeasta levytystahdistaan, vuonna 1965 yhtyeeltä ilmestyi peräti 11 albumia. Viime vuosina yhtye on levyttänyt harvakseltaan, mutta keikkailee edelleen ahkerasti. Yhtyeen tunnetuimpia kappaleita ovat muun muassa Walk Don't Run, Pipeline, Wipe Out, Hawaii Five-O ja Surf On Guitar. The Ventures on tehnyt yhden keikan myös Suomessa Hämiksellä. Sali oli täynnä rautalankamusiikin harrastajia, niin kuuntelijoita kuin soittajia.

The Venturesin perustivat vuonna 1958 Bob Bogle (basso), Don Wilson (komppikitara) ja Nokie Edwards (soolokitara). Mukaan yhtyeeseen otettiin rumpali Skip Moore. Yhtyeen alkuvuosina rumpalit vaihtuivat muutamaan otteeseen, kunnes vuonna 1962 yhtyeeseen liittyi Mel Taylor, joka soitti yhtyeessä aina kuolemaansa saakka.
Yhtyeen esikoisalbumi Walk Don't Run julkaistiin vuonna 1960. Nimikkokappale on edelleen yksi yhtyeen kaikkien aikojen tunnetuimpia hittejä.

1970-luvulla muutamilla The Venturesin levyillä soittivat studiomuusikot, sillä aito yhtye keikkaili ahkerasti ympäri maailmaa. The Venturesia on kritisoitu ja syytetty yleisön petoksesta, jota teki 1970-luvulla. The Ventures lopetti studiomuusikoiden käytön 1980-luvun alussa kokonaan. The Shadows käytti myös aikanaan studiomuusikoita albumeillaan.

The Ventures piti levytystauon vuosina 1983-1995. Vaikka yhtye ei ole enää vuosiin tehnyt menestyshittejä, yhtyeen suosio keikkarintamalla on suurta. The Ventures on nykyisin suosittu etenkin Japanissa. Yhtyeen uusin studioalbumi on vuonna 2004 julkaistu Ventures Forever.
