Le Sziget Festival (Diáksziget : « l’île des étudiants » ou parfois Pepsi Sziget en référence au festival auparavant financé par la marque de boisson) a lieu chaque année en plein cœur de Budapest dans l'île Óbuda, sur le Danube. Il rassemble près de 400 000 personnes pendant une semaine.
Il est souvent considéré comme le Woodstock européen. C'est en tout cas l'un des festivals les plus importants. Le festival comporte neuf scènes principales :
