Garry Gary Beers

Gary William Beers, (born June 22, 1957) in (Manly, Sydney, Australia) known as Garry Gary Beers, is the bassist for rock group INXS.

Garry prefers to stay in the background.

Co-owns record label 'Override' with Sebastian Chase; where he produces and plays bass with acts such as Michael Peter and Bionic.

• Garry has two daughters Lucy Mae and Matilda Bonnie with ex wife Jodie.

• He enjoys surfing, rugby league and Rugby Union.

• Garry owns one of the largest collections of old guitars, basses and amps. This collection includes a one of a kind see through acrylic glass bass.

• Beers was originally given his double name at school, it was later misprinted on the first INXS album cover as "Garry Gary Beers". Very rarely known as Gary, Beers adopted the alternative spelling; which appears on INXS merchandise and personal items such as guitar picks.

• Jodie Beers can be heard laughing on Suicide Blonde.

• Garry's fans at rockband.com have nicknamed him The Sultan.
