Ghana (GHA) has sent athletes to all Summer Olympic Games held since 1960 except for 1976 and 1980. As well, under its previous colonial name of Gold Coast, Ghana competed in 1956. Ghana's athletes have won four Olympic medals:
- Clement Quartey, Light welterweight boxing: silver
- Eddie Blay, Light welterweight boxing: bronze
- Prince Amartey, Middleweight boxing: bronze
- Ghana national football team, Football at the 1992 Summer Olympics: bronze
No athletes from Ghana have competed in any Winter Olympic Games.
