[edit] Your image upload
Hey, and welcome to Wikipedia! Just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia is governed by some pretty strict copyright rules when it comes to images. In general, an image can be either "free" or "not free". "Free" images are generally images in the public domain, or images for which the copyright has been given up by the owner, etc. Some images, including the one that you uploaded (Image:AP logo for wikipedia..jpg), are considered "not free" because the copyright is owned by someone else (in this case, Australia Post). Wikipedia is allowed to use unfree images basically in cases where there is no other alternative (a logo, a CD cover, a movie frame - basically things where a free equivalent could not be created to replace it). There's a list of these "Fair Use" exceptions here. Your image qualifies as a logo, and so to alert the administrators, I put a {{logo}} tag on the image itself.
Just wanted to let you know. Oh, and by the way, here's a welcome message with a bunch of information you might find helpful! Let me know if you need anything else by adding a note to the bottom of my talk page.
