Ginger Ninja
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ginger Ninja is a show that used to be run on the Tom and Subby Show on the Australian radio station Triple M just before 10 pm on weeknights except Friday. The Ginger Ninja is possibly based loosely on Tom Gleeson, the co-host of the Tom and Subby Show.
[edit] Characters
There are several characters in the Ginger Ninja. Firstly, there is the Ginger Ninja. His alter ego is Glen Green, who can turn into the Ginger Ninja by drinking a bottle of SPF 30+ sunscreen. The Ginger Ninja is a regular host on redhead FM as well as a travelling do-gooder.
His nemesis is Tan Man, a gorgeous, tanned man who wears nothing but a G-string. During most episodes he tries to get someone to lick his nipples. When the Ginger Ninja defeats Tan Man, he leaves by saying "I'm outta here."
Ginger used to have a sidekick, Albino Boy, who we never heard speaking. Eventually, Tan Man kidnapped him (that was how Tan Man came into the show), but Albino Boy escaped and married Albino Girl, and they left the show forever.
A student from Bournemouth University named Jack Williams is rumoured to have been the inspiration for such a beautifully well crafted show.
[edit] Powers
In the introduction at the start of each Ginger Ninja episode, most of the powers of the characters are revealed. The Ginger Ninja's powers include getting burnt, peeling off his skin, and throwing it at his enemies. He has also used his peeled off skin as a substitute for cling wrap, bathers, glow-in-the-dark confetti, and a "pin the skin on the ninja" game.
Tan Man's powers include hypnotising people with his gorgeous tan complexion. He has tried to hypnotise many famous celebrities into getting naked with him or licking his nipples. He has tried to get naked with Bec Cartright, he has tried to get Nikki Webster to lick his nipples and almost became Mr. Universe after hypnotising the current Mr. Universe. He has also tried to hypnotise many non-famous people as well.
The Albino boy, who is no longer on the show, used to disgust people with his strange appearance. They used to end each episode by saying something like "Albino boy get out of that police car/bush/caravan/etc." Then when people saw him, they'd throw up. In one episode there was a pizza with no topping, so the Ginger Ninja looked Albino Boy in the eyes and threw up. This of course made a great topping for the pizza and everyone was happy.
