Glendale is a village in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. The population was 2,188 at the 2000 census.

Glendale is located at (39.271258, -84.463957)GR1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.3 km² (1.7 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 2,188 people, 942 households, and 649 families residing in the village. The population density was 505.9/km² (1,312.9/mi²). There were 1,000 housing units at an average density of 231.2/km² (600.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 82.82% White, 14.17% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.69% Asian, 0.23% from other races, and 1.97% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.19% of the population.
There were 942 households out of which 24.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.0% were married couples living together, 8.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 27.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 2.79.
In the village the population was spread out with 19.6% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 24.6% from 25 to 44, 32.4% from 45 to 64, and 17.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 45 years. For every 100 females there were 95.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.2 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $75,113, and the median income for a family was $84,341. Males had a median income of $57,361 versus $45,556 for females. The per capita income for the village was $40,787. About 0.8% of families and 2.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 1.4% of those under age 18 and 4.7% of those age 65 or over.

Glendale operates its own Waste Water (sewage) Treatment Plant and Water Plant (artesian wells). For Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Glendale contracts with neighboring Woodlawn Fire Department, led by Woodlawn Fire Chief Rick Mynat. Glendale Fire Chief Michael Finney leads a 21 man all volunteer fire department. In all departments, there are a total of 21 full-time employees.
The Glendale Village government is Ohio Statutory (Strong Mayor) and includes the following officials: Mayor Thomas Todd, Vice Mayor Joseph Hubbard, Solicitor Michael Honerlaw, Clerk/Treasurer William Aronstein, Councilpersons Monica Alles-White, Ephriam Swafford, Deborah Grueninger, Alan Hoeweler, Jenny Kilgore. Appointed Officials include: Administrator Walter Cordes, Police Chief Matthew Fruchey and Fire Chief Michael Finney. Council (7pm) and the Glendale Planning Commission (5:30pm) meet on the first Monday of each month at 80 E. Sharon Ave., Glendale OH 45246.
