[edit] Internationals
Recently the media was talking about a "war" going on between the Macedonian, Swedish and even the Croatian football federation, all in attempt to get him to join their national football teams. Slavkovski and his father have stated that it would be an honour to play for his country of origin, Macedonia but still did not made up his mind yet. Goran Slavkovski also received an invitation by the Macedonian Prime Minister to attend a meeting on his chances for playing in the Macedonian national football team. On February 24 a statement had been released by his family that he will play for the Macedonian under 21 and is expected to make his debut late in March when Macedonia U21 take on Albania's youngsters [2]
