Could you translate zh:後藤新平 into English, for the Scouting WikiProject? Whoever he is, he's got to be important.Chris 02:30, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

As far as I can understand (the babelfish translation), he was a senior governmental officer. Scouting is only mentioned in the picture's subtitle. --jergen 07:10, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

A beautiful start, and the pictures are great. But for such an important figure (hell, even i've heard of him, and I normally focus on pre-Meiji), the article's awfully short. LordAmeth 23:32, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
