[edit] Guildford Town Centre Mall
Guildford Town Centre Mall, the second-largest mall in British Columbia, was built in 1966 and is owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge, a Quebec-based investment firm. The mall has over 200 stores, services, and restaurants with a gross leasable area of 91,538 m2 (985,306 sq ft), and its anchors include The Bay, Sears, Wal-Mart, London Drugs, Old Navy, SportChek, Off the Wall, Jacob Connexion, and American Eagle Outfitters. The mall has received only very minor touch ups since its inception, but a major renovation is being planned so it can compete with other regional shopping centres like Metrotown and Willowbrook Shopping Centre.
