Hamid Alidoosti (Persian: حمید علیدوستی , born March 11, 1956 in Tehran, Iran) is a retired Iranian footballer and a football coach. He is currently manager of Sorkhpooshan FC in Iran's Azadegan League.

[edit] Playing career
He played for Homa FC for most of his career, as well as FSV Salmrohr in Germany. He was also a member of Iran national football team in late 1970s and early 1980s.

He has been the coach of a few clubs in Iran, including Homa FC, Paykan FC (2000-2002), as well as Iran national under-20 football team (2003-2004).

His daughter, Taraneh is an actress. His son, Pouyan, was killed in the annual Iranian fire-festival, Chaharshanbe Suri, in March 2005 at the age of 16.[1]
