[edit] History
Daughter to a blacksmith named Angus MacDonald, Heather's life can be summed up in a single statement - she was the light and love of Connor MacLeod's life. She married Connor in 1537 and lived a full, simple and loving life. Yet, because of Connor's nature, their life was sometimes troubled. For some time, Immortal Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez lived with them to train Connor for The Game.
One night, while Connor was absent, she had to witness Ramirez's execution at the hands of another Immortal, The Kurgan. After the Quickening, The Kurgan raped Heather, a fact she would never tell Connor. In 1555, Connor was warned that his mother, Caiolin MacLeod, was to be executed by the Clan MacLeod. Heather expressed her disapproval to Connor's clansmen, not understanding why they could not leave Connor alone.
Sometimes, she suffered for the fact that she grew older while Connor did not. One night she cut a piece of hair and gave it to Connor saying that a least that piece of hair would not grow old. Though she never bore any children, her love of life and Connor never dimmed. She passed away an old woman in 1590, asking Connor to light a candle for her to remember her by on her birthday. He never failed to do so.
