Heckington
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Heckington is one of the largest villages in Lincolnshire. It is located about midway between Sleaford and Boston.
The village is best known for its windmill, the only 8-sailed example of its type still standing in the UK. The windmill has recently undergone refurbishment and is fully working. It also has a stained glass window of the church's making in the church.
Dick Turpin was caught in the village pub, The Nags Head.
