Heron Quays West
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Heron Quays West is a double skyscraper development proposed for Canary Wharf, London. The current design is for two large skyscrapers connected by a large atrium at the base, not unlike the Riverside South development. The site is at the south west of the Canary wharf site off Bank Street. It is one of the final pieces of the current Canary Wharf design masterplan.
Developed by the Canary Wharf Group and designed by the architects, Richard Rogers Partnership, The current building design has two skyscrapers. Tower one has 40 floors and a height of 214 metres, and tower two has 29 floors and a height of 156 metres. The two towers are joined by a common base.
Status - in pre-planning. Construction is unlikely until Riverside South and North Quay are completed. This may be several years with the design liable to change depending on market forces.
