HMS Magnificent

Four major and three minor ships of the British Royal Navy have been named HMS Magnificent.
- The first Magnificent was a 74-gun third-rate ship of the line built in 1766 and wrecked in 1810.
- The second Magnificent was a 74-gun third-rate ship of the line built in 1806 and broken up in 1866.
- The third Magnificent was an early battleship built in 1894 and sold in 1921.
- There were three more minor ships called Magnificent during the period 1921-1944.
- The seventh Magnificent was an aircraft carrier built in 1944.
