[edit] Trivia
- Her given name, Houko (法子 Hōko?), is sometimes mistransliterated as Noriko, even in Japan. This may be due to the fact that Noriko is another way of pronouncing 法子, as seen in the name of Noriko Sakai, a famous Japanese actress.
- She has starred in many anime produced by Sunrise (e.g. Infinite Ryvius, Argento Soma, Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny, Inuyasha, among others). Also, in Gundam Seed, Argento Soma and Infinite Ryvius, her characters have strong relationships with the characters voiced by Hoshi Soichiro.
- In both Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny, she voiced characters who were the main character's initial love interest (Fllay Allster in Gundam SEED and Stellar Loussier in Gundam SEED Destiny). None of the characters which she voiced in either Gundam SEED or Gundam SEED Destiny survived the duration of the series.
- She has worked alongside Kotono Mitsuishi whereby they voiced partners who act as foils to each other.
- In Gundam Seed, with Kotono as Murrue Ramius and Houko as Natarle Badgiruel
- In Noir, with Houko as Kirika Yuumura and Kotono as Mireille Bouquet
- Coincidentally, both ladies had voiced the same character before, under different circumstances: Satsuki Yatōji from X (Kotono was Satsuki's voice in the movie version while Houko voiced Satsuki in the anime version.) Also, both ladies appeared in three anime series in a row on the Saturday 6 p.m. timeslot on MBS and TBS, starting from Gundam Seed, to Fullmetal Alchemist and to Gundam Seed Destiny.
- Became good friends with fellow seiyu Haruna Ikezawa after their collaboration in Gravion.
