Hoy is the second largest Spanish language daily newspaper in the United States, the largest being El Diario La Prensa. Hoy is based in Chicago, Illinois and also distributes separate issues for Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York. Hoy is owned by Tribune Company.
The Tribune Company announced the sale of Hoy New York to ImpreMedia LLC for an undisclosed sum on February 12, 2007. The other papers are not affected by the transaction, which is to the parent of El Diario La Prensa
