Ian Tamblyn

Ian Gordon Tamblyn (born December 2, 1947 in Fort William, Ontario) is a Canadian folk music singer-songwriter, record producer and playwright.
Tamblyn studied at Trent University, graduating in 1971 and subsequently settling in Ottawa. He released a demo cassette, Moose Tracks, the same year. In 1976, he released his full-length debut album, Ian Tamblyn, which won a Juno Award for Best Folk Music Recording.
Tamblyn has also recorded a number of albums of instrumental music inspired by his participation in scientific research expeditions to locations such as Greenland and Antarctica.
