[edit] iPodLinux not supporting shuffle for the obvious lack of display reason
I wonder, the iPodLinux project originally aimed for compatibility with more audio formats, and I don't think the lack of display stands in the way for this. But the lack of a GCC compiler for the Shuffle's DSP56000 core is a solid reason. --ReCover 19:24, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Huh?
I moved the following section here, because it is highly unlikely and seems like a joke to me.
- Ported Doom engine, dubbed iDoom, which is a complete port of the official source code released by Id software. It has dithered graphics and a scaled down screen to fit the iPod

[edit] Podzilla 2
The new version is now the official release, the name may have changed, but the feature mentioned, modularity, is in operation, and several of the filenames on their wiki call the current version #2
[edit] More Linux
Does anyone know of any plans to create a linux-based interface for the Sony NWA series? The connect player's just been dropped due to its appaling programming and compatibility, and I was wondering if Open Source would be the solution, rather than having to conform to the SonicStage?
Thanks. -A

[edit] This is all very old information.
All of this needs to be updated. There have been multiple significant changes since the last update. Many of them are highly important regarding both the current status and future plans of the project. I will discuss this with the iPodLinux community soon and we will draw up a new article for Wikipedia so that users will be able to see just how far the iPodLinux project has progressed. -||not the author from above:||- The newly added link "An instalation guide for beginners" has a flaw. Under the number 9, he sais to put 2 files in the ipod hard drive, but not in any folder. Later under the 19th line, he sais you shoulden't have these files on the hard drive. I tried contacting the author, but coulden't find any info. What to do?
Uh I got it working a while back on like 5 different nanos (mine, my 2 bros', and 2 friends').
Arn't there like 3 different install tutorials? 68.104.205.76 03:50, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
