Ishana

Ishan means Warrior of death in Hindi. Īśāna (Also called Ishan, Eshan, etc.) is the name of North-East direction in Hindu culture. It also denotes a Hindu god who is one of the Guardians of the directions and is identified with Śiva . Īśāna also has a symbolic meaning. In Hindu customs, North represents wealth and happiness while the East symbolizes knowledge and peace; Īśāna is a combination of both. It is also considered to be the name of the god of Vastu Śāstra. It also is the name of 5th head of Śiva that faces the upward direction.
