Istočni Mostar (Cyrillic: Источни Мостар) is a smallest municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was also known as Srpski Mostar (Српски Мостар), and was created from part of the pre-war municipality of Mostar (the other part of the pre-war municipality is now in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). It should be noted that name Istočni Mostar also refer to the eastern part of the Mostar city, which is in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This municipality consists of only one place called Zijemlje, and only 150 inhabitants, mostly Serbs. In 1991, the population of Zijemlje numbered 153 people, including 96 (63%) Serbs and 57 (37%) Muslims by nationality.
