At Drew's house, Oswald, Lewis, and Drew are watching scrambled television, believing its porn. It turns out the television signal is so bad that it is actually a documentary on surgery. Kate comes to Drew's house to persuade the gang to help her get rid of her new date who is really annoying her. They three guys all pretend to be her crazy family to scare off the date, and Kate actually prefers to go back with her date once they prove to be too crazy. One of Winfred-Louder's employees is killed by a speeding car while trying to cross a busy intersection in front of the department store. To replace the employee, Dexter K. Roberts, a popular salesman famous for his great parties, is brought in to take her job. Meanwhile, Kate bleaches her hair blonde in the hopes of attracting decent men, but does not receive the desired results. Dexter is very charismatic and works to improve the morale of his fellow co-workers. Drew feels left out when the rest of the employees leave to have lunch with Dexter while Drew was in the copy room. Dexter then embarrasses Drew in front of the office staff by using several of his magic tricks on him. Dexter throws a big party for his co-workers, and invites Lewis and Oswald to come as well. Drew and Mimi discover that they are the only employees who did not get an invitation. They both run into each other at the Warsaw Tavern and discuss the pain of being outcasts. Drew and Mimi become furious and decide to crash the party and ruin everyone's good time. At the party, Lewis and Larry are enjoying drinking a margarita in a kiddie pool. After Mimi and Drew upset the partygoers and Drew "mixes" the margarita by stepping in it, Dexter reveals that he left invitations for Drew in all of his pockets during the magic trick. When Mimi questions why she was not invited, Dexter tells her she was not invited because of her attitude. Mimi wants to trash his house with a hammer she keeps in her purse, but Dexter says that he has called the police and orders her to leave. When Mimi is about to leave, Drew decides to go with her, telling Dexter that no employee should be by themselves. Dexter pleads with Drew to stay at the party, but Drew feels that it is wrong for Mimi to be excluded. He loads up on food and leaves with her, but immediately regrets his decision.
