[edit] Plot
The episode opens with Drew having to deal with the store elves working for the store during Christmas. Their list of demands to continue working at Winfred-Louder cannot be met, so Oswald and Lewis end up getting the elves' jobs. Drew tries to end Mr. Wick's random firings of the Winfred-Louder employees to an end by developing a system that ranks the employees based on their work performance. At the office, Drew inadvertently agrees to help organize a bridal shower for Lisa. Drew had incorrectly believed that an elderly employee was the bride-to-be, not his ex-girlfriend. At Drew's house, Lewis and Oswald get a phone call from the store Santa Claus, telling them to bail him out of jail. Back at the store, Drew learns that Mimi is attracted to Mr. Wick. By coincidence, Lisa's fiancé, Trent, is one of the first employees in line to be fired after Drew's new system is implemented. However, Drew does not fire him, knowing that he is Lisa's fiancé. Lewis and Oswald begin to have more problems with the store Santa after he gets drunk and gets in a fight with the two large elves. Lisa believes that Drew created the system to spite her for getting engaged to Trent. Drew insists that Trent needs to be fired because he is always late to work and leaves his cash register open. Lisa pleads with Drew to talk to Trent and give him another chance to stay with the store. After Drew agrees, Lewis and Oswald find Drew and tell him that the store Santa has died in front of all of the kids. Drew ends up helping them calm the kids. Later that day, Drew has an interview with Trent and discovers that Trent tends to switch from one job to another frequently, and suggests to Trent that he think more carefully about his career moves. After listening to Drew's advice, Trent suddenly concludes that he is rushing into marriage and should call off the wedding. To further complicate things, he quits his job, enraging Lisa. She later comes to Drew's house to apologize after Trent tells her what happened. Lisa tells Drew that she and Trent are eloping. At the conclusion of the episode, Lewis and Oswald hit on some women at the Warsaw Tavern with their elf costumes on.
