Gem Archer

Gem Archer (nato il 7 dicembre 1966 a Hunwich, Country Durham in Inghilterra) è il chitarrista ritmico degli Oasis. Il nome completo dell'artista è Colin Murray Archer.
Dal 1987 al 1999 suonò nei Whirpool, e nel 1999 fondò gli Heavy Stereo una band rock. Archer si è unito alla band degli Oasis nel 1999 dopo l'abbandono di Bonehead. È il chitarrista ritmico e canta anche le seconde voci in alcune canzoni. Ha scritto, e tuttora compone dei brani per la band, come Hung in a bad place (2002) ,A bell will ring (2005) e "The quiet ones" b-side presente nel singolo "The importance of being idle", il quale ha raggiunto la posizione numero 1 in Inghilterra.
