Jaime Vendera

Jaime Vendera is a rock singer and voice strengthening coach. While filming an episode of MythBusters, Vendera shattered a wine glass using only his unaided voice, which was the first documented act in recorded history. Vendera said the show's producers contacted him after a fellow singer, Jim Gillette from the 1980s band Nitro, could not do the show. The resulting episode catapulted him into fame.
He is the author of two books, Raise Your Voice (ISBN 0-9749411-1-5) and The Ultimate Breathing Workout (ISBN 0-9749411-4-X). A third (a revision of Raise Your Voice that will include more in-depth exercises and information) is in the works and will be due out at the end of 2007 or beginning of 2008.
