[edit] Hi, and Welcome!
Today is Sunday, April 8, 2007, and the current time is 10:03 (UTC/GMT).
There are currently 1,727,001 articles on the English Wikipedia.
[edit] Introduction
Hi. I am Jeff G. Welcome to my Wikipedia User page User:JeffGent. The URLs for this page are https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/User:JeffGent on the secure English-language Wikipedia and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:JeffGent on the insecure English-language Wikipedia. Of those two, you have chosen to read http://en.wikipedia.org../../../j/e/f/User%7EJeffGent_acc4.html. I became a Wikipedia Editor on 21 December 2006. My Talk page is here. My Contributions are here. My recent activity on en:Wikipedia is here.
I support SpamCop, but I have certain disagreements with SpamCop's pedantic nature and its unwillingness to support postmaster and abuse mailboxes. I also support RFC-Ignorant.Org, The Spamhaus Project, and the Network Abuse Clearinghouse. I believe in the philosophy 'my mailboxes, my mailserver, my hardware, my network, my rules.' I also believe that no individual or organization should be providing services and access to spammers (except possibly wardens and corrections officers), including such services and access as route announcement, routing, PPP, SLIP, Ethernet, IP, TCP, Registration, DNS, SMTP, POP, IMAP, UUCP, HTTP, HTTPS, and webmail.
My original Wikipedia Signature was "Jeff G.". My new one is " — Jeff G. <span class="plainlinksneverexpand">(talk|contribs)</span>", and here is a test of that: — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 03:04, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

I have been a SpamCop User/Member/Customer since 1999 and am a Moderator of the new web-based forums (now the primary method for getting help, http://forum.spamcop.net/). Please contact me via Forum, Group, and/or List only. Except items that I specifically solicit (at my sole discretion), I do not accept any messages sent via PM, IM, or Email. If any such message is received, the sender acknowledges that: the message (including its source IP Address) will not be considered confidential or proprietary; I and my affiliates are under no obligation to keep it confidential; and I will have an unrestricted, irrevocable, world-wide, royalty free right to use, communicate, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, exploit, post, report, and/or ridicule it in any manner I choose. I do not provide Official SpamCop.Net Customer Support - please see How To Get Official SpamCop.Net Customer Support for that.

P.S. Thanks to Ex_Brit and Wazoo, I can't in good conscience refer to http://forum.spamcop.net/forums/index.php?showuser=2041 in public any more (because one has to be logged in to see it), so I'll just have to refer to my Sig Post's URL or my Wikipedia User page instead. :(
My Forum Signature now refers to my Sig Post's URL.

Never mind, keeping up with this section was way too much work, just see my contributions and my EditCount with Interiot's internal tool Tool3 AKA count_edits, or Interiot's external tool Tool1 AKA wannabe_kate.
