Jerry Seinfeld is currently touring North America (spring, summer 2005). Does anyone know the content of this show (is it the "I'm telling you for the last Time" show, or completely new material?) Moreover, does anyone have a link to a description or review of this show? [edit] Removed sentence

I removed this sentence: "On November 15, 2004 Jerry appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman to promote the Seinfeld DVD sets." Seinfeld must have made dozens, of talk show appearances. I fail to see why this one in particular deserves mention. -R. fiend 23:06, 22 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Why does the name "Seinfeld" appear in Yiddish transliteration in the first sentence? It's not Jerry's native language, nor does he perform or write in it. What's the justification for including it? --Metropolitan90 16:26, May 11, 2005 (UTC)

I dispute that we need a first-sentence identifier of Seinfeld as a "Jewish American." I understand completely that his comedy springs from the Jewish tradition in America and that it's relevant that he is Jewish. But I dispute that the fact that he was raised Jewish is necessary as a first-sentence qualifier to "American." Other Wikipedia articles on people who happen to be Jewish don't contain such qualifiers, generally, and the first sentence is the place only for the most general of information. Seinfeld does not refer to being Jewish all that often in his comedy (though of course it's hardly a secret), and I really fail to see why his religion is relevant enough to put in the first sentence. I have found solid evidence that, while Seinfeld may have donated money to George Bush in the primary campaign, he almost certainly did NOT support Bush in 2000. Why should we believe this nndb site? Who are they? They list absolutely no sources. A google search for Seinfeld and scientology turns up only speculation. There is no hard evidence that he actually converted. Well, why should we believe you? Your sources are just as bad. For example, you or someone listed IMDB.com as a source. But http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000632/bio itself does not give any reference at all. Also, is there any prove that he actually went to Birch Lane Elementary School or her mother is a Syrian? If you are going to rely on google searches and fan sites, then my original assertment is also a valid statement. There are plenty of web sites that mention Jerry Seinfeld and his interest in Scientology. I removed the statement: "Also appearing as an uncredited character in Pulp Fiction[[1]] " because Seinfeld was never in Pulp Fiction. Let me also add that the citation (movie review) does not say that Seinfeld was in Pulp Fiction. Allow this quotation from the review settle the issue.

"A black hitman and a white hitman murder three Causcasian burger-eating adolescents living in a cheesy la-apartment (one of whom bears a frightening resemblance to an uncredited Jerry Seinfeld (believe it or not)."

Note the use of the phrase "frightening resemblance" indicating that this was not Jerry Seinfeld but someone who looked like him. Again the actor/actress was Alexis Arquette who was credited to the character in question. The term "throttle cock" has been inserted in this biography numerous times. I do not have the correct information to make the necessary changes, but if someone does it would be great for them to edit the article when they have the chance.
