Joe Krol

Joe Krol (born on February 20, 1919 in Hamilton, Ontario)[1] was a Canadian Football League quarterback from 1932-1953. He went to Western Ontario University.
Krol won six Grey Cups, five with the Toronto Argonauts. He was awarded the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada's top athlete in 1946. He became a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1963. He also played 2 games for the Detroit Lions of the NFL in 1945.
