[edit] My database and tools
My genealogy database program of choice is Personal Ancestral File ("PAF") 5.2.18.0, from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am thinking about abandoning it for Family Tree Legends (which interfaces with GenCircles, where I publish my database) or Family Tree Maker.
I also contribute to WikiTree, but I had stalled my contributions until it standardizes handling of homonymic dynasties ("Junior", "III", etc.) and I discover the full birth names of some of my daughter's closer relatives. Now there is talk about WikiTree merging with Rodovid, so I'm also stalling because of that. If you want to get a copy of my database, please email me a request. I can send it in one of the PAF formats (best for PAF users) or GEDCOM format (probably necessary for users of all other genealogy database programs).
