Jonathan Barnes

Jonathan Barnes (born 1942) is a British philosopher, translator and historian of ancient philosophy. He taught for 25 years at Oxford University before moving to the University of Geneva. He now teaches at the University of Paris- Sorbonne in France. He is the brother of the novelist Julian Barnes. He is also a part time resident of Bronxville, NY USA.
