The word Britain is an informal term used when referring to;
- the island of Great Britain
- the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (the "United Kingdom" or the "UK"), a sovereign state
- the Roman province called "Britain" or "Britannia".
- the British Isles
