José Jonny Magallón Oliva (born November 21, 1981) in Ocotlan, Jalisco Mexico is a football player currently playing with Chivas de Guadalajara as a defender. He made his debut with Chivas on March 13, 2005 against arch rival Club América which ended tied 3-3. Playing as a left defender in Chivas, replacing former player of PSV Eindhoven, Carlos Salcido when he left for the Apertura 2006 after the World Cup.
For his first season beginning as a starter, he started since the first game through the Final game against Club Toluca. He did not miss any minute of the actual tournament, and was the only player to do so.
On January 18, 2007 he received his first summons as a member of Mexican National Team, and he played his first game with the Mexican National Team on February 28, 2007.
Magallon is been intresting by many teams from Spain and england.
