From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This user: International relations major at PhD level specializing in Korean nuclear affairs. // This section may also be vandalized in the future by Falun Gong apologists from Seoul, Korea (which is shameful for any true Korean to do) thinking that this helps their cause.
To Pro-Falun Gong vandals/apologists: How does vandalizing user pages help your cause? Only someone lacking in maturity would go about cussing. Or is it because you have nothing worthwhile to say about Falun Gong? And why hide behind an anon. IP address? Have the guts to take responsibility for your own comments! Otherwise, we can see who's really pathetic.
Just a disclaimer: I am neither a pro-FG or anti-FG 'friend', but I do strive to be friendly with both extreme camps. It's called diplomatic relations.
NB: The layout on this page does NOT work on Mozilla Firefox.

Pages to which I have significantly contributed to, written or edited: (i.e. at least 10%):
- Six-party talks (Over 95% for this one)
- Most North Korea-related articles, esp nuclear, foreign relations, government/politics.
- Education in Hong Kong
- Almost all Hong Kong political parties and politicians' pages, including the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, Liberal Party (Hong Kong), The Frontier (Hong Kong), Civic Party, and various politicians' pages, including Cyd Ho, Rita Fan, the heads of the major political parties, etc.
(I won't bother listing the many pages to which I have made general English grammar/spelling etc. edits plus other edits that are not major - you can check my user contributions page for that!)
[edit] Current engagement on Wikipedia
- I was brought to the Falun Gong entry via a mediation case that ended up not being resolvable. I am currently still engaged in lengthy discussions on the controversial Falun Gong entry, esp. on the discussion page. Am desperately trying to establish order there via a set of rules governing editors' behavior. Will not expect this to be resolved before 2010 due to constant interruptions via edit wars, esp. by certain users.
- I also edit/update the six-party talks entry regularly, due to my specialization. Was the end of the fifth round of talks on February 13, 2007 a success? Will it last this time?
[edit] Significant POV pushing on Falun Gong-related pages
There is a need to re-quote Wiki's guide: "POV pushing is a term used on Wikipedia to describe the aggressive promotion of a particular point of view... The term may be regarded as incivil and should be used with care and only in unambiguous cases."
[edit] Wiki not a battleground; must assume good faith
Policy that has a wide variety of applications by different users in different contexts. Hard to be consistent. The maturity of editors is also reflected in how they deal with arguments and misperceptions as well as accusations.
[edit] Vandalism by 211.50.65.1xx, 210.207.18.84
I don't see how vandalizing user pages helps the Falun Gong cause, I really don't.
