Junction 8 (Chinese: 第八站; pinyin: Dì Bā Zhàn) is a popular heartland shopping mall located in in the centre of Bishan New Town. The mall is a fourteen-storey complex with a six-storey office tower and a five-storey mall with two basement floors. It also houses a single-storey annexe building. It is located outside Bishan MRT Station and Bishan Bus Interchange. Opened in 1994, the mall was renovated in 2005 and a two-storey extension was built for more retail space. Travellators were also installed to offer shoppers more convenience.
Junction 8 is very popular with students of Raffles Institution and Catholic High School, whose schools are located in the vicinity.
Anchor tenants include movie theater operator Golden Village, Seiyu, NTUC Fairprice and Best Denki.
