Justin York

Justin Michael York (born November 26, 1983 in Los Angeles, California) was the guitarist of Christian rock band TAIT. He joined the band in 2001 when he was barely 19 years old, replacing Pete Stewart. He subsequently left the band in 2004.
When Justin was five years old, he and his family moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he grew up in a very Christian and musically gifted family. It was his father, Peter York, himself a skilled guitarist, who taught Justin the instrument.
When he was a teen, Justin got his first major chance to play guitar professionally when Phil Joel (of the Newsboys) invited him to work on his solo album. Justin has had numerous opportunities since then, playing for Paul Alan, Sammy Ward, and Rebecca St James.
